On our recent office familiarization trip to Punta Cana, we stayed at the Paradisus Punta Cana resort. We had chosen it because it was well priced, not too far from the airport and it had lots of restaurant choices, 12 to be exact. We were upgraded to the Reserve section of the resort which is like a hotel within a hotel with upgraded amenities in the newer section of the property. Although it is further away from the beach it had its own pool with swim up bar and lots of lounge chairs and beds.

Catalonia Bavaro & Catalonia Royal Bavaro

I just recently had the opportunity to travel with my co-workers to Punta Cana. I was able to view The Catalonia Bavaro and The Royal Catalonia Bavaro.
The Catalonia is an all inclusive resort situated on the seafront of the famous Playa Bavaro beach with white sand and turquoise water. This resort offers 711 rooms; 704 of them being Junior Suites, 6 Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. This resort also offers Privileged by Catalonia which is at an additional cost, but will give you plenty of extra amenities.

The Catalonia is a resort geared to everyone. It offers everything from a kids club to casino.
