1. Don't wait! Plan ahead! Honeymoon planning can be great fun unless you run out of time. To ensure you can get the honeymoon of your dreams, planning should begin at least a year in advance. Hotels sell out and ticket prices rise, so try to avoid having to compromise your plans.
2. Each of you make a list of destinations you would like to visit. Share it with each other and see what places overlap.
	3. This is a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip, so make sure you know what you both want. Make another list, this time of things you want to have for your honeymoon so you can come up with a destination that offers all (or most) of your dreams.
4. Establish your budget early to keep honeymoon planning from rapidly swelling beyond your means. You never want to have to start cutting back your dream honeymoon, so determine early how much you can afford.
5. Gather advice from friends and family, but make certain that your own wishes and plans are the most important. Don't try and make another couple's perfect honeymoon your own.
6. Do as much research as you can for information on your destination of choice. You don't want to end up at a roach motel when you planned on staying in a Taj Mahal-like palace.
	7. KEEP IT FUN! Wedding planning can be stressful, but the honeymoon is the celebration at the end of it all!
